We provide reading spaces for residents, with books, magazines, and newspapers.
Using the library is free; anyone is welcome to browse freely.
- 毎週月曜日（月曜日が祝祭日にあたる場合は開館します）
- 館内整理日（毎月第3木曜日。その日が祝日にあたるときはその前日）
- 年末年始(12月28日～1月4日)
- 臨時休館日（カレンダーや広報たじみなどでお知らせします）
Usage Guide
For First-time Visitors
Borrowing books outside the library requires issuing
a "User Card" .
Please bring when issuing
Any 1 is OKPlease bring one ID that confirms your address. The following are examples.
Please also note
Tajimi City Main Library、Children's Information Center can also be used for borrowing.
A reissue fee of ¥100 will be charged. Please keep it safe.
Borrowing and Returning Books

When borrowing
- 1 Bring the materials to the counter along with your user card.
- 2 Staff will complete the borrowing procedure.
- 3 The return due date and number of items will be printed on your card.
When returning
- During open hours, bring materials to the return counter (do not place them directly back on the shelves).
- Returns are also possible at the Main Library and Children's Information Center.
- You don't need your user card when returning.
- Outside of open hours, please use the return post. Large books and AV materials cannot be returned via the post, so please cooperate.
Other Services
Reserving a book
You can reserve materials held at the library, main library, or Children's Information Center.
Please fill out a "Reservation Card" and submit it to the counter. We will contact you when the material is ready.
When you cannot find a book
Please feel free to ask the counter staff.
Magazine browsing and lending
The latest issues displayed on the shelves are for in-library reading. Back issues are available for borrowing.

Notes on Using the Library
- If a book is damaged, please bring it to the counter as is without attempting repairs. We will check its condition.
- If repair is not possible or if the book is lost, please purchase (reimburse) the same book.
Facility Guide
Kasahara Community Center is a multi-purpose facility combining the functions of a community hall, children's center, and library. The building also houses the district office and the Kasahara Town Chamber of Commerce.
